About Ahaus Apprenticeships
College isn’t the only option…

How about considering a career in manufacturing? New technology and economic growth have created a high demand for manufacturing opportunities. From skilled tradesmen to project engineers to technical engineers to even senior managers – the possibilities are endless - including an associates degree in Engineering Technology and many others!

The Ahaus apprenticeship program was established in 1978 with 2 apprentices. Since then, we have had over 36 apprentices successfully complete the program – many of them moving to CNC Machining positions before completion.

Ahaus currently offers 6 apprenticeship opportunities: Machinist, Electrician, Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker, Service Technician, Accounting, and Engineering.

Our apprenticeships are a working partnership between Ahaus and Ivy Tech Community College and approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship. Upon completion of the program, the apprentice has the opportunity to be placed into a permanent position with Ahaus.

Ahaus is committed to the values of education, learning, and developing people to reach their fullest potential.
