Opportunity
Ahaus is seeking a Service Technician (Mechanical). This position provides service, training and quotes, makes customer contacts, supports and maintains good company image. 

Duties, Responsibilities & Information
- Installs and/or supervises installation of equipment in customers facilities
- Recommends and quotes spare parts, replacement parts, and service calls
- Logs and reviews service request to determine appropriate skills required
- Coordinates service calls with customer and Ahaus Team Members
- Travel to customer facilities
- Premium pay while on service calls

Training & Experience Required
Ten years experience in machine tools industry, familiar with all facets of manufacturing processes. Technical skills: precision measurement, mathematics, and quality assurance techniques. Sound interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management, and leadership skills. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others, toolmaker/machinist background desired. The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
 
Working Conditions
- Occasionally subject to higher noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oils and cutting fluids.
